The Ruling Bishop visited the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord under construction in Tiraspoltranslated

On August 19, on the day of the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord God and our Savior Jesus Christ, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary visited the church under construction in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord in Tiraspol. Archpriest Peter Unku, who was responsible for the construction, acquainted His Eminence with the progress of the work, spoke about the stages already completed and the upcoming tasks for the further construction and improvement of the church. The bishop's visit was also attended by the assistant responsible for construction, Priest Maxim Sergeev, and the sacristan of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ, Archpriest Pavel Kuzmenykh. On the day of the patronal feast, under the arches of the church still under construction, Archbishop Savva, together with the clergy, sang the troparion and kontakion to the Transfiguration of the Lord. The prayer in the church, which has yet to be completed, became a spiritual continuation of the festive service and evidence that the future shrine is already becoming a place of common prayer.
At the end of the prayers, the Ruling Bishop donated to the parish an icon of the Mother of God, which will become one of the shrines of the church under construction. The Bishop wished God's help to the clergy and everyone taking part in the construction of the church...
