The Orthodox pedagogical detachment “Ichthys” resumed its activities in the new academic year. Newcomers to the squad also took part in the first meeting.

The commander of the detachment, Vera Seletkova, spoke about the activities of “Ichthys” in the new academic year. In the summer of 2026, members of the teaching team, created with the blessing of the head of the Yekaterinburg Metropolis, took an active part in conducting the Orthodox shift. The training of the children was carried out throughout the entire academic year: from September to May, the participants of the teaching squad - Orthodox youth, students and parishioners of various churches - underwent theoretical training. Classes with teachers, psychologists and priests were held in the Church of Mary Magdalene, where the children also studied the Holy Scriptures as part of the Patriarchal Bible study program. The guys plan to begin preparing for participation in the Orthodox shift 2027 now.
