Rev. Valeriu Dobrescu, former parish priest of the "Holy Trinity" Church in Azuga, designated Honorary Citizen of the Citytranslated

Father Valeriu Dobrescu, the former parish priest of the "Holy Trinity" community in Azuga, was appointed Honorary Citizen of the City last week.
Mayor Adrian Purcaru handed him the title during a special ceremony held in the parish church.
"We thank you for the years dedicated to the people, for the patience, for the support offered to those in need, for all the moments when you were close to the families of Azuga and for your contribution to preserving the Christian values that bound and continue to bind this community", the local mayor said on Facebook.
"A priest's life is not measured only in years of service, but also in the people who have found comfort and peace in this church, with you."

The cleric is a descendant of several generations of priests from the same family who served the parish.
