Father Lecturer Alexandru Atanase Barna from the "Justinian Patriarch" Faculty of Theology of the University of Bucharest presents a master's program offered by the academic institution in the next academic year: Christian History and Tradition, a study program on the sources of Orthodox spirituality.

The Master's degree lasts 2 years (4 semesters) and aims to introduce students to some crucial concepts or aspects related to Orthodox spirituality, such as: holiness, deification, prayer, the Orthodox icon, the relationship between theology and philosophy, the relationship between Christianity and contemporary challenges, the ethos of ancient and contemporary Christianity, the patristic sources of Orthodox spirituality, the spirituality of the Desert Fathers, inter-church relations in the past and in the present present, the history of the Holy Mountain, in the past - the relations with the Romanian Countries - and in the present.
