A good example of how to work with the elderly. Here in Niš, the father from the church of Saint Panteleimon also comes to the home for pensioners and talks about Peter and Fevronia before their holiday. At least people are reminded that marriage is not only paper, but also patience and prayer. Thank you for bringing the children from school.

Here in Kragujevac, the father from St. George also goes to the home for the elderly, but he talks more about St. John the Baptist. Milan's comment reminds me that both Peter and Fevronia could be a good topic just before their holiday. Does your father from Panteleimon come regularly or only around the 8th of July?

It is very good that the elderly and disabled people are brought directly to the center together with children and they talk about Peter and Fevronia. Here in Tbilisi, I often read about these saints, especially during the years of marriage. Milan's comment is correct – marriage is not just a piece of paper, it requires patience.

Father from Panteleimon comes regularly, but right before the feast of St. Peter's Day and Fevronia, he always talks a little more about them, so people remember them more easily. In Kragujevac, that with Jovan the Baptist is nice, but for older people, the story about the marriage and fidelity of Petra and Fevronia often hits right in the heart. Did you see any of the elders talk about their marriage after that?

Good example, Milan. Here in Belgrade, the father from St. Mark's Church also comes to the center for the elderly, but he talks more about family holidays and how to pray together. Does your father from Panteleimon also carry the icon of Peter and Fevronia to show them?

Alexander, that is why such meetings are important - children listen to adults, and adults receive the warmth of children. I read a book about Peter and Fevronia last year, and really, their story shows best that marriage is not just a document, but a daily choice. In which church in Tbilisi do you sometimes hear people talking about them?

Yes, father Vladimir carried a small icon of Peter and Fevronia, he showed it to them while talking about their marriage. With us, it always goes with the story of patience and forgiveness, and not just about the holiday. And how do your elders react to those visits of Father from Saint Mark, Katarina?

Alexander, indeed, talking about Peter and Fevronia during the years of marriage especially helps me - I told their story to my son at the children's evening last month. Patience is really the key, as you say. What book do you read about it in Tbilisi?
ლევან ჯავახიშვილი
Indeed, patience is the foundation, Vakhtang. I myself often tell this story to children, especially in spring, when everything starts anew. I am reading an old Georgian edition of "Peter and Fevronia" in Tbilisi, which I have in the library - what source do you use?
