On October 5, the wards of the center for social rehabilitation "Radius" from the autonomous non-profit organization "Social Welfare", accompanied by parents and teachers, visited the Ascension Cathedral.

The head of the diocesan youth department, Sergei Nikolaev, told the guests about the revered shrine - the belt of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and also briefly recalled the history of the Ascension Cathedral and the heavenly patron of the city - St. Andrew of Simbirsk.

Then the wards of the center venerated the ark with a piece of the belt of the Mother of God and pieces of the relics of the righteous saints Joachim and Anna - the parents of the Most Holy Theotokos.

All excursion participants received brochures of spiritual literature as a gift.
