The first acquaintance with the church was organized for first-graders of Lyceum No. 1 in Surguttranslated

Prikhody.ru 09/17/2926. As part of the cooperation of the parish in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” with educational institutions in the city of Surgut (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug), first-graders from Lyceum No. 1 visited the church complex. The conversation in the Church of the Holy Martyrs Faith, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia was conducted by priest Nikolai Glukharev.

For some children, this meeting in the format of a live dialogue became special, since the children became acquainted with an Orthodox church for the first time. After the conversation, everyone received a gift - the book “Orthodox Churches of Surgut,” according to the public page of the Khanty-Mansi diocese on the VKontakte social network. First-graders also had the opportunity to meet the author of the book’s illustrations, Alexander Vasilyevich Gruzdev, by visiting the artist’s workshop and exhibition hall with his works.

The meeting ended with the lyceum students being treated to tea and sweets.
