Patriarch Daniel consecrated the reliquary with the relics of Saint Maria Brâncoveanu and her sons, Stefan and Mateitranslated

On Thursday, the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel consecrated the casket in which the relics of Saint Maria Brâncoveanu and her sons, Ștefan and Matei, were placed.

The consecration service was held in the historical "Saint Great Martyr George" Chapel of the Patriarchal Residence.

"Holy Lady Maria Brâncoveanu was not only diligent and wise, but she was also very generous. She learned to be frugal and merciful, so that very often, with great discretion, she gave a lot of alms and helped a lot of people who were in need," added His Beatitude.
