Patriarch Porfirije to Onuphry: “We pray for the suffering Ukrainian Orthodox Church”

Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia has sent a message of congratulations to Metropolitan Onuphry (UOC) on the occasion of his name day, celebrated on the feast of St. Onuphrius the Great.
In his message, the Serbian Patriarch expressed fraternal love and heartfelt prayers for Metropolitan Onuphry, asking the Lord Jesus Christ to grant him peace, good health, strength, and many years of faithful ministry.
“From the Throne of Saint Sava and on behalf of the sister Serbian Orthodox Church, together with our brother bishops, clergy, monastics, and faithful people, we offer fervent prayers that the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ may preserve you in peace, whole, honorable, healthy, and long-lived, and grant you the strength to continue rightly proclaiming the word of His truth,” Patriarch Porfirije wrote.
The Serbian Patriarch also extended his prayers to “the suffering Ukrainian Orthodox Church”, asking God to bring healing and peace amid the ongoing hardships.
