Patriarch of Serbia congratulates Metropolitan Onufriy

Patriarch Porfirije of Serbia extended his warmest congratulations to Metropolitan Onufriy of the UOC on the occasion of the feast of Saint Vladimir, Equal-to-the-Apostles, Prince of Kyiv.

The Serbian Patriarch conveyed his greetings on behalf of the entire Serbian Orthodox Church and personally.

“Longing for the truth, the pious Prince found Christ, whom, like a precious pearl, he first placed at the centre of his heart through his baptism in His name, and then at the heart of his people,” Patriarch Porfirije said in his message.

He also prayed that, through the intercessions of Saint Vladimir, the Lord would strengthen Metropolitan Onufriy, the clergy and the faithful entrusted to his pastoral care.

“May the Lord, through the prayerful intercession of Saint Vladimir, strengthen Your Beatitude, the clergy and the spiritual flock entrusted to you, and grant you an abundance of His grace,” the Serbian Patriarch concluded.
