Pilgrimage trip to Smolensk to the relics of St. Spyridon of Trimifuntskytranslated

On September 3-4, believers of the Polotsk diocese made a pilgrimage to Smolensk to venerate the relics of St. Spyridon of Trimythous. In the amount of 49 people, pilgrims visited the Assumption Cathedral, where they venerated the relics of the saint and prayed at a prayer service with an akathist to the miracle worker.

Believers knelt before the icon of the Mother of God “Hodegetria” of Smolensk, venerated the relics of Mercury of Smolensk and other saints of God. We also got acquainted with the life of St. Spyridon of Trimyfutsky. After praying, the pilgrims returned home safely with great joy. The trip was organized by the Hodegetria pilgrimage center in cooperation with the parish of the Church of the Intercession of the Holy Virgin in Polotsk.

It's good that exactly 49 people managed to go and pray the akathist. The "Hodigitria" icon and the relics of Mercury of Smolensk must have made an impression. I'm curious how exactly they organized the trip from Polotsk, by bus or by train?

It’s good that exactly 49 people gathered - it’s clear that the Hodegetria center has thought of everything. Here in Novosibirsk, the relics of Spiridon were also brought a couple of years ago, I remember how the line lined up to the street. Did they travel from Polotsk by bus or by train?
