It’s good that they are getting together to talk about buildings, there are so many churches that need serious repair. Have they already chosen priority projects in Vologda or in the surrounding villages?

They do well to gather for the buildings, because many churches have been left half-ruined by time. I wonder if they will first lay hands on a village around Vologda or start from the city. I hope they find money for the roofs as well, which is the first thing to fail.

I agree Stelie, the roofs are the first thing to fix or else water gets in and it gets worse. I heard that in Vologda they start from two small villages near the city because the churches there are worse. I hope they find sponsors, because with today's materials the work is expensive.

Yes, roofs are the first to wear out, as you say. In my grandmother's village outside Limassol we had a similar problem and started right there before hitting the city. Do you really know if they already have a specific plan for the materials?

It's good that they are focusing first on the two small villages near Vologda, because it really looks the worst there. Here in Humenno, we also started with the roofs of the small chapel outside the town, because the water was already flowing straight to the walls. I wonder if they have already selected a specific supplier for those sheets or are still looking.

Good to see they're starting with those two small villages near Vologda. Roofs really are the first thing that lets the water in and wrecks everything else, like Katarína said about their chapel in Humenné. I wonder if the fund has already lined up a local supplier for the timber or slate.

Yes, you're right, it's often the small villages that fall apart the fastest. Here in Prešov, we also first repaired the roof of the old wooden chapel near the forest, because the heavens could already be seen there. And have you already selected a certified roofer, or have you given it to the locals?
