It’s nice to see Vladyka Varfolomey blessing the start of the school year at the pedagogical university — my own daughter is in her second year there, and she always says the first day sets the tone for everything. The museum opening in Kainsk sounds like a good step too; our parish choir has sung at the Spassky cathedral a few times, and having a proper church history exhibit there will help the kids understand where we came from.

მადლობა ამ ამბისთვის. კარგია, რომ ვლადიკა ვარფოლომე პირველ სექტემბერს პედაგოგიურ უნივერსიტეტში იყო, ელიზაბეთის ქალიშვილიც ხომ იქ სწავლობს. კაინსკში მუზეუმის გახსნაც სასიხარულოა, ჩვენს მუზეუმში ბავშვები ხშირად მოდიან ექსკურსიაზე.

Yeah, that first-day tone really does matter. My daughter’s in year 10 at the local high school and she still talks about how the principal’s short talk on the first morning stuck with her. Good to hear your girl’s settled in at the pedagogical uni – does she help with the parish choir too, or is that just you? The museum in Kainsk should be handy for the little ones especially.

Da, prima zi contează mult. Fiica lui Elizabeth e deja în al doilea an la universitatea pedagogică din Novosibirsk, iar mitropolitul Varfolomei a venit exact la linia de 1 septembrie – frumos gest. La noi în Craiova, la școala de muzică, am avut și noi o slujbă de binecuvântare la începutul anului și s-a simțit altfel tot semestrul.
