Constantias Vassilios: The martyrs of July 9, signposts on the path of the peopletranslated

A dinner was offered to the clergy and their families on the evening of Thursday, July 9, 2026, in the courtyard of the Holy Church of Panagia Panagiotissa in Protaras, by Metropolitan Basilios of Constantia and Famagusta, on the occasion of the summer season. It was preceded by a trisage for the ethnic martyrs of July 9, 1821 and the late father of His Holiness, Antonios Karagiannis.

In his brief homily he referred to the figure of the Archbishop of Cyprus Kyprianos and the other martyrs.
