Ecological references and concerns are at the center of the message of the Archbishop of America, Mr. Elpidophoros, for September 1, the day of the beginning of the Indictus which begins the new church year, as well as a day of prayer for the protection of the Natural Environment. With a post on social media, His Eminence particularly emphasizes the contribution of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, Mr. Bartholomew in highlighting the ecological responsibility of the Church, noting that "they have underlined our relationship with the Earth and with the entire creation".
