The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, to Metropolitan Fthiotidos Simeontranslated

The Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis visited yesterday, Wednesday, August 5, 2026, the headquarters of the Region of Central Greece in Lamia, in order to attend the handover ceremony of seven new ambulances to strengthen EKAB services in the region. The Minister's visit to the city started from the Administrative-Spiritual Center of the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotidos where he had a cordial meeting with Rev. Metropolitan Fthiotidos Mr. Simeon from whom he was informed about the actions and work of the Local Church.

"With Mrs. Vildiridou, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, and my colleagues, we started by visiting the Venerable Fthiotidos Simeon, a truly enlightened hierarch, to receive a Blessing", Mr. Georgiadis wrote, among other things, in his post on social media.
