On the 35th anniversary of the Patriarch, the 4th Bioethics Scientific Conferencetranslated

The work of the 4th Bioethics Scientific Conference of the Ecumenical Patriarchate continues today, October 3, 2026. During the 1st Session of the day, following the proposal of the President of the Conference, Rev. Archbishop of Australia Mr. Makarios, which was received with great enthusiasm by all the Conferences, it was decided that the present Conference will be dedicated to the holy Person of His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew, who in a few days completes 35 full years at the helm of the Great Church (October 22, 1991).
The present dedication to this historic landmark of the blessed Patriarchate of our Holiness Patriarch, is a small recompense not only for his undivided support and trust towards the Bioethics Conference but, above all, for what the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew bestows on the Church and humanity as a whole.
