Holy Trisay in memory of the blessed benefactor of the Holy Metropolis of Thessaly and Phanariophersalon, Antigonis Tsioutsiou, was celebrated on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 by His Eminence Metropolitan Mr. Timotheus, on the occasion of her name feast. With this prayerful act, the memory of Blessed Antigone Tsioutsiou was honored, who was associated with the Holy Metropolis and offered as a benefactor to the work of the local Church. During the celebration of the Holy Trisagion, a prayer was recited for the repose of the blessed soul, with the Church keeping alive its memory and gratitude for the contribution of people who supported its work with love and generosity.

His Eminence prayed for the repose of the soul of the blessed benefactor, asking the Lord to place her "in the tents of the righteous" and grant her eternal rest.

May her memory be eternal. It's good to see the local Church still remembering and praying for benefactors like Antigoni Tsioutsio who supported the diocese with real generosity.

I remember that in our parish we also celebrated Trisagion for donors who once supported the renovation of the roof. It is good that Metropolitan Timothy does not forget about people like Antigoni Tsioutsio - specific help for the Church is rare. Eternal rest.

It’s good that Metropolitan Timothy does not forget such people. In Yaroslavl, we also sometimes hold memorial services for the old benefactors of the church, who helped back in Soviet times. Eternal memory to her.

It is a good thing that Metropolitan Timotheus remembered Antigone Tsioutsiou exactly by her name. In Larissa we also had a lady who left money for the bell tower of Agios Achillios; we still mention her in Trisaya. Her memory is forever.

Here in Gjirokastër we have an old woman who left the land of her garden for the church of Saint Sophia, and we still mention her in the trisagion every year. It's good that Metropolitan Timotheos does it right on Antigoni Tsioutsio's name day, so that people don't forget those who helped with open hands. Her memory is eternal.

In Krasnodar, too, on Troitskaya, we sometimes hold memorial services for those who helped with the renovation of the church in the nineties. It’s good that Metropolitan Timofey chose the day of her name day - this way the memory holds on stronger. Eternal memory to her.
