Feast of Agia Marinis Maistro Alexandroupolistranslated

On Friday, July 17, 2026, our Church honors the memory of the glorious great martyr Marina and celebrates the Holy Church of the same name in Maistro Alexandroupolis, where part of the holy relic (a finger of her hand) and the miraculous icon of Saint Marina are kept. On Thursday, July 16, at 8:00 p.m., the Great High Priestly Vespers will be celebrated and then until 12:15 after midnight the evening High Priestly Divine Liturgy. The Metropolitan of Alexandroupolis, Mr. Anthimos, will preside over the above services.

On Friday, July 17, the Solemn Divine Liturgy will be celebrated from 7.00-10.00, while in the evening from 9.30-12.15 Evening Divine Liturgy

The Holy Church of Agia Marina will remain open throughout the two days, so that the faithful have the opportunity to worship the holy relic and the miraculous icon of the Saint.
