Registrations have begun at the School of Byzantine Music of the Metropolis of Maroneiatranslated

The School of Byzantine Music "Chrysanthos Filippidis" operates under the care and blessing of the Reverend Metropolitan of Maroneia and Komotini Mr. Panteleimonos. It is recognized by the State and grants a Degree and a Diploma in Byzantine Music. The School has classes for beginners and advanced students, adults, a practical chanting, choir and traditional singing department.

The course lasts for 5 years and students from fifth grade and above, as well as men and women of any age, can enroll.

The registrations have started and will last until September 30 and those interested can contact the Offices of the Holy Metropolis daily and at the telephone numbers: 25310 22642 and 6977671860.

On Monday, September 28, 2026, the first meeting of the students of the School will take place, where the creation of the departments and the information about the program and the operation of the School will take place.

On Monday, October 12, 2026, the official Consecration ceremony for the new academic year will take place, which will be celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Mr. Panteleimon.
