The project of digital management and promotion of the religious wealth of the Holy Metropolis of Kitrou, Katerini and Platamonos begins, within the framework of the "Digital Transformation" program of the NSRF. The first working meeting took place at the Metropolitan Palace of Katerinis, on Thursday August 27, in the presence of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kitros, Katerinis and Platamonos Mr. Georgios, executives of the Holy Metropolis and the team of the contracting company "DOTSOFT SA", effectively marking the start of the implementation of a project of particular importance for the future of pilgrimage tours in Pieria.

The implementation of the project is part of the firm strategic choice of His Eminence Metropolitan Mr. Georgios to highlight Pieria as a special destination of pilgrimage interest, utilizing its particularly rich ecclesiastical, historical and cultural stock.
