The Elevation of the Holy Cross was celebrated with particular splendor on Monday, September 14, 2026 at the celebratory Holy Pilgrimage of Panagia Ekatontapylianis of Paros, the erection of which is linked, according to tradition, to Saint Helen and her journey to Jerusalem in order to look for the Holy Cross. During the Service of Orthros, the Theophilous Bishop of Keramos, Mr. Bartholomeos, officiated, while the Solemn Divine Liturgy was presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Paranaxia, Mr. Kallinikos, who preached the divine word.
