The Metropolis of Dimitrias on the side of the Association of Patients with Neoplasia of Magnesia "LIGHT OF LIFE"translated

Rev. Metropolitan of Dimitrias and Almyros, Mr. Ignatios, was visited today, in his office, at the Conference Center of Thessaly, by representatives of the Association of Patients with Magnesia Neoplasia "FOS ZOIS" being established. The meeting was attended by the President of the newly established Association Mr. Miltos Michaelidis and the Secretary Mrs. Vassiliki Skartsiari, who informed His Excellency about this new initiative, which is at the stage of its legal and statutory formation, as well as about the purposes and needs of the new organization.

Special mention was made of the need to find a permanent home, both for the headquarters of the Association and for the meetings and future actions of its members. His Eminence, responding immediately to the relevant request, granted space to the Spiritual Center of the Holy Metropolis of Dimitrias, at the junction of K. Kartalis and Anthimos Gazi streets, in order to house the headquarters of the newly established Association and to hold its meetings there.

The representatives of "LIGHT OF LIFE" expressed their warm thanks to His Holiness for the immediate response and practical support of the Local Church in the first steps of the new Association.
