Night service of the Chapel in Tholaria Amorgostranslated

In Tholaria of Amorgos, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Thira, Amorgos and the Islands, Mr. Amfilochios, yesterday September 17, 2026, celebrated the Thyranoixia of the Holy Parish Chapel, which is dedicated to Osia Irini Chrysovalantou and Saints Raphael, Nikolaos and Irini. In his speech on the occasion of the Saints to whom the Chapel is dedicated, he also referred to the power of prayer and trust in God, stressing that the Saints with their lives and example call people to transfer faith from the place of worship to their daily life.

His Eminence congratulated the vicar, the Ecclesiastical Council and all those who worked and offered for the completion and beautification of the Holy Chapel and wished that Osia Irini Chrysovalantou and Saints Raphael, Nikolaos and Irini would be ambassadors for the residents of Tholarion and the whole of Amorgos.
