Youth violence in the light of Orthodox Theology and lifetranslated

Pastoral approach – messages of love and hope to modern youth Youth violence is one of the most disturbing manifestations of modern social reality. It occurs in school, in groups, in families, in the stadiums, but also in the digital world, where verbal abuse, cyberbullying and public exposure deeply injure the human personality and often create human dramas.

Particularly worrying is the phenomenon of school bullying and severe aggression in school premises, where, from a place of meeting and social appreciation, it becomes a place of externalization and expression of wild internal aggressive moods. And while immature young souls should be full of purity, companionship and kindness, they express hatred and violence, which is often unnecessary or has childish causes. The most tragic thing is that often these violent attacks have devastating results, such as serious injuries, even death!

This modern and very disturbing phenomenon should concern us all, parents, teachers, scientists and pastors of the Church. I have to…
