With the departure of the group of 100 children from Ukraine, the first 80 days of the summer season were completed today at the Camp Center of the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotides "Saint Catherine" in New Lokris. Since May 23, 2026, when the Reverend Metropolitan Fthiotidos Mr. Simeon performed the consecration for the start of summer operation of the Camp Center, already 800 children, aged 8 to 18 years, have participated in various programs of the Camp Center.

Both in the 4 basic camp periods, two boys and two girls, Primary, Middle School and High School, with 400 children from the Catechetical Fellowships of the Parishes of the Holy Metropolis of Fthiotidos, as well as in the special camp periods for the students of the Lamia Model Church School, the "St. Ephraim" Children's Creative Employment Center, for the children of special centers and structures, the Camping Center became this year a creative idyllic place for recreation, education, sports, culture, worship of God and inner spiritual cultivation.
