The feast of the Patroness of Kythira, Panagia Myrtidiotissatranslated

The Panagioskepastos island of Kythera brilliantly celebrated its great Mother, Panagia Myrtidiotissa, in the place where Her Holy Icon was miraculously found 7 centuries ago and since then it has been a source of healings and graces for the whole world. The focus of the celebration is the Holy Pilgrimage of the same name, where thousands of believers came from all over Greece to commemorate the feast of Our Lady, exactly 40 days after the feast of Her Dormition. The Holy Masses were invited by the local Metropolitan of Kythera and Antikythera, Mr. Seraphim, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Mantineia and Kynouria, Mr. Epiphanios who presided over the Great Vespers, and the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corfu, Paxos and Diapondian Islands, Mr. Nektarios, who presided over Orthros and High Priest Collaborator.
