The Holy Synod of the Church of Cyprus which met yesterday, Thursday, September 17, 2026, in its third regular session of the year under the chairmanship of A.M. of the Archbishop of Cyprus Georgiou. In more detail, the Holy Synod studied a letter of protest on behalf of the Monks of the Holy Monastery of Stavrovouni and the residents of the area for the proposed expansion of Latomeio in the area.
