Reverend Metropolitan of Drama Mr. Dorotheo,

Reverend brothers and co-ministers in Christ our Lord of the Holiness Church in Drama

we thank you for the invitation to the blessed priesthood and completion of the ordination of Fr. Georgios, the responsible youth, in this historic and martyred and flourishing Metropolis.

Honored Presbytery, ministers of Christ, gracious and blessed people of God,

our dear hierodeacon Father George,

in a few days we will celebrate the birth of our Virgin Mary who drew God to the fulfillment of the redemptive and saving divine economy for all creation.

Mariam was the one who cooperated, so that God would fulfill His pre-eternal plan for the completion and recapitulation of the whole world (in the God-human existence of His incarnate Son).

This recapitulation, this completion, this fulfillment, this salvation, is called and is: Church of the living God.

In this Church, we, the lowly ones, have been blessed to participate as humble servants of our Lord, and while and as long as we rekindle the given gift, priests of the Gospel of Christ...
