Another work of love and practical contribution was completed by the Holy Metropolis of Arusha, with the construction of a new well in the courtyard of the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi in the village of Indoni, Tanzania. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Arousa, Mr. Agathonikos, visited the village and performed the Consecration of the new well, in the presence of the residents. With this new well, the Holy Metropolis of Arousa provides a solution to one of the most important problems of the local community, offering clean water to hundreds of residents. It is a project that relieves families, protects their health and substantially improves their daily life.

In many areas of rural Africa, access to clean and potable water is still a daily struggle for survival. Thousands of people are forced to walk long distances to natural springs, carrying buckets of water on their heads.
