The deceased was the son of a refugee family from Asia Minor and was born in Nea Ionia in 1933. He was a graduate of the Pedagogical Academy of Larissa and during his educational journey he served as a Teacher and Director in villages of Pelion and Volos. He was the teacher who combined love for his ministry with practical Church life and love for God. He instilled into the hearts of his students not dry worldly knowledge, but the morals and spirit that derive from the experience of Jesus Christ, performing the greatest benefit, offering the greatest teaching. At the same time, he devoted himself diligently to the study of local history and folklore and wrote numerous relevant articles in the local press.
