Veroia Panteleimon: Let us try to live as people of Godtranslated

On Sunday, July 19, in the afternoon, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Berea, Naoussa and Campania Mr. Panteleimon officiated and preached the divine word at the Solemn Vespers at the celebratory Holy Church of the Prophet Helios in Xirolivados. His Excellency's Speech:

"Here is this I know, because you are a man of God."

The eve of the feast of the prophet Elios, and in the readings from the Old Testament, which we read a little while ago, we heard wonderful incidents from the life of that great prophet of the Old Testament, whom our Church and all of us who came tonight to this holy church, dedicated to his grace.

And although the prophet Elijah did not write a book with his prophecies, as the other prophets of the Old Testament wrote, he left a strong imprint to this day, so that he is honored and exalted not only in heaven but also on earth.

Why does this happen? Why did the prophet Elijah remain so alive in people's memory and is he the only prophet to whom the faithful build and dedicate churches to this day?

The answer is given by the widow, whose son was resurrected by the prophet Elijah with the power...
