Praises and litany of the Epitaph of the Virgin Mary in Naoussatranslated

On Thursday, August 13, in the afternoon, in the full Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Naousi, as every year in Imathia, the liturgical events for the feast of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary began. Vespers was first celebrated, followed by the Great Prayer and the sequence of Eulogies of the Epitaph to the Most Holy Theotokos under the patronage of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Berea, Naoussa and Campania, Mr. Panteleimonos, who also preached the divine word.

This was followed by a Holy Litany of the Epitaph of the Virgin Mary around the Holy Church.

His Excellency's Speech:

"And I have you as an intermediary with the philanthropic God, do not check my actions in front of the Angels".

Gathered tonight around the Epitaph of our Virgin Mary, as the apostles used to do in Gethsemane, we sang to her the last Prayer of this year's Fifteenth of August and her Praises. We sang to her all these divine hymns that the divinely inspired reed but also the infinite love of the holy hymn writers for the form of the Virgin composed, hymns that touch our own souls and move us all deeply. And they move us, because they cover all our needs and all our requests, and indeed not...
