Lefkada: Annual Archpriest Memorial Mass of Maria Aigeialidou benefactor and ordination of a readertranslated

On the morning of Sunday, July 19, 2026, a Resurrection High Priestly Divine Liturgy was held at the Holy Monastery of the Most Holy Theotokos Faneromenis of Lefkada, presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Lefkada and Ithaca Mr. Theofilos. His Holiness ministered flanked by the Professor of the Holy Monastery, His Eminence Archimandrite Fr. Nikiforos Asprogerakas, the Head of the Holy Church of Agia Glykeria Galatsiou, His Eminence Archimandrite Fr. Archdiocese of Athens and the most venerable deacon Father Kallinikos Karanthimou.

The divine word was preached by the Panosiology Archimandrite Father Joachim, taking the occasion from the Gospel reading of the day. During the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, the Most Reverend Metropolitan appointed Mr. Georgios Argyros of Ilias, a pious young student from Lefkada, as reader and after the end of the High Priestly Divine Liturgy he officiated at the annual Memorial Mass of the great benefactor of the Holy Monastery and the Philharmonic Society of Lefkada, the late Maria Aigealidou as well as the other benefactors of the Holy Monastery of Faneromeni.
