Florinus Eireneios: "The Holy Sophia as a Model Mother and Educator"translated

On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, the Very Reverend Metropolitan Florinus of Prespa and Eordaias, Archbishop Eirenos, visited the Orthodox Hieromonastic Brotherhood of Love in Florina, where he celebrated Vespers in the Monastery for the feast of Saint Sophia and her three daughters, Faith, Hope, and Love. After Vespers, the Deputy Mayor of Florina, Konstantinos Rozas, and a large number of faithful were present.
Before the end of Vespers, the Metropolitan spoke about the martyrdom of Saint Sophia and her daughters, who lived and witnessed in Rome during the 2nd century, remaining steadfast in their Christian confession. He focused on the three great virtues of Christian life: faith, hope, and love, emphasizing that faith supports, hope strengthens, and love completes the human person.
