Orthodox Youth Council of Moravia: "I Can Do All Things When I Learn about God"translated

The 25th Orthodox Youth Assembly of Moravia began today on Saturday, September 19, 2026, in Čečín. The assembly commenced with the Divine Liturgy, presided over by the Most Reverend Archbishop and Metropolitan of Moravia and the Sea Region Ioannikios, assisted by the Very Reverend Bishop Dioklitias and the clergy and monks of the metropolitanate.
In his sermon at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, he emphasized the importance of conducting the Youth Council in Čečín, saying: "It could have been held somewhere else and in another church, but we all prefer it to take place here, in the Church of Saint Peter in Čečín, which, together with Saints Sava and Basil of Ostrovsky the Wonderworker, is the best example and guide for all our children."
Recalling that today is the feast of the Archangel Michael, the Metropolitan of Moravia and the Sea Region stated that he is convinced that angels also arrived at the assembly in Čečín with the children.
