Lefkada celebrated Agia Paraskevitranslated

On the two days of Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26, 2026, the memory of the Holy Martyr and Athlete Saint of our Church was celebrated with all magnificence at the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi in the location "Agrapidia" Kalamos. Saturday afternoon at 8:00 p.m. the Grand Solemn High Priest Vespers with bread, presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Lefkada and Ithaca Mr. Theofilos, flanked by the High Priestly Commissioner of Lefkada and vicar of the Parish of Kalamos, His Eminence Archimandrite Fr Spyridon Bouris. The divine speech was preached by the Most Reverend Metropolitan who, among other things, referred to the life and martyrdom of the celebrated Saint Paraskevi.

On the morning of the holy day, the Orthros Service was chanted and then the Solemn Divine Liturgy was held, in the presence of the Reverend Pastor Mr. Theofilos, who before the end of the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist performed the Founding Memorial of the donors of the Holy Church.
