On Saturday, July 11, 2026, the day commemorating the memory of the glorious Great Martyr Saint Euphemia, the newly elected Bishop Andidon Isidoros received the third degree of holy orders from the Ecumenical Patriarch, His Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew. Following the Patriarchal Divine Liturgy, His Holiness performed the consecration to the episcopacy and addressed words of exhortation to the new hierarch.
“Do not forget the theology of the episcopal office, which reveals why the Orthodox Church accords the Bishop a special reverence and honor,” stated the Ecumenical Patriarch, His Holiness Patriarch Bartholomew, to the newly elected Bishop Andidon Isidoros.
Assisting at the consecration were the Most Reverend Metropolitans of Philadelphia, Meliton; Laodicea, Theodoretos; Krenia, Cyril; and Chicago, Nathanael, alongside the Metropolitan of Messenia, Chrysostom, representing the Archbishop of Athens, Hieronymus. Also present was the Metropolitan of Polyanes and Kilkis, Bartholomew, whom Bishop Isidoros acknowledged in his address as his spiritual father.
