Bishop Antanias Parthenios returned to Mount Athos after 36 yearstranslated

With special emotion, spiritual joy and gratitude to the all-good and most-merciful God, our dear Elder and Professor, the Most Holy Bishop of Antania Mr. Parthenios, accompanied by part of the Bigorski Brotherhood, is making a pilgrimage these days to the Holy Mount of Athos – the blessed Orchard of the Most Holy Theotokos and eternal source and refuge of orthodox monasticism.

The Most Reverend Bishop of Myrin, Mr. Athenagoras, Assistant Bishop of the Orthodox Holy Metropolis of Mexico, Central America, Caribbean Islands, Venezuela and Colombia of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, with whom our Elder will co-celebrate in memory of Saint Panteleimon, was added to our pilgrimage.

The occasion for this blessed and gracious visit was the cordial invitation of the Righteous of the Koutloumusian Skete of the Holy Glorious Great Martyr and Healer Panteleimon in Karyes, our dear friend, Hierodeacon Fr Chrysostomos.
