Archbishop from Areopagus: "Let us bear the fruits that the world needs, especially our homeland"translated

"May we have a blessed and rich year, so that we can bear the fruits that the world needs and especially our homeland" wished the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Mr. Hieronymus during the consecration ceremony at the Areopagus this morning on the occasion of the start of the new Judicial year. The Archbishop was accompanied by the General Hierarchal Commissioner of the Holy Archdiocese of Athens, Protopresbyter Fr. Emmanuel Papamicroulis and Archdeacon Dimitrios Fokianos and were welcomed by the President of the Supreme Court Mr. Panagiotis Lymberopoulos, the Prosecutor of the Supreme Court Mr. Evangelos Bakelas, the Minister of Justice Mr. Giorgos Floridis, the Deputy Minister of Justice Mr. Ioannis Bougas and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice Mr. Pelopas Laskos.

After the consecration sequence, the Archbishop wished the judicial officers inner strength, health and fruitful work, so that they can respond to the responsibility assigned to them by the Lord and to the needs of the time. "I wish for a blessed, rich year, so that we can bear the fruits that the world and especially our country needs" noted the Archbishop.
