With faith, love and freedom: A special week at the Camp of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnaniatranslated

With special joy and rich experiences, the High School Girls' Camp period of the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania, which was hosted from July 27 to August 3, 2026 at the camp facilities in Riza Nafpaktia, was completed. More than 100 Middle School girls experienced a beautiful and creative week full of smiles, friendships, playing, dancing, singing and lots of activities. In an atmosphere of joy and brotherhood, the campers had the opportunity to escape from everyday life, meet new friends, collaborate, create and, above all, enjoy the beauty of common life.

This year's camp, however, was not limited to just joy and entertainment. It had a special spiritual and historical orientation, inspired by the completion of 200 years since the Exodus of Messolonghi.

Starting from the heroic struggle of the Free Besiegers, the girls traveled through history and reflected on values ​​that remain alive and relevant: faith, love, freedom, self-sacrifice, unity and love for the country.
