The Archbishop of Crete at the gates of the Holy Church of the Three Hierarchs in Budapesttranslated

The Most Reverend Archbishop of Crete Mr. Eugenios, on Saturday September 5, 2026, attended the opening of the Holy Church of the Three Hierarchs and the Orthodox Christian Dialogue Center "Phanarion" of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, in the center of Budapest. A.Th.P. carried out the procession of the Thyranos. the Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomew, in the presence of representatives of the local authorities, Hierarchs of the Ecumenical Throne, clergy and a large number of believers.

The Most Reverend Archbishop of Crete went to the capital of Hungary at the invitation of the relevant Pastor, His Eminence Metropolitan of Austria and Exarch of Hungary Mr. Arsenios, in order to participate in the liturgical and festive events.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Archbishop of Crete officiated during the Vespers service in the newly built Holy Church of the Three Hierarchs.

The creation of the Holy Church and the Orthodox Christian Dialogue Center "Fanarion" is an important stage for the presence and witness of the Orthodox Church in the heart of the Hungarian capital, as well as a new meeting place, communication and dialogue cultivation.
