Meeting of new clergy at the Camps of the Diocese of Corfutranslated

The 24th General Priestly Conference of the Holy Diocese of Corfu, Paxos and the Diapontian Islands began its work with a gathering of the new clergy of the local Church in the renovated camping facilities of Kassiopi. 40 new clerics, most of them ordained by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corfu, Paxos and Diapontian Islands, Mr. Nektarios, participated in this pastorally fruitful evening gathering on the evening of Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The meeting has been established by the Metropolitan of Corfu Mr. Nektarios in recent years, so that the opportunity is given to the younger clergy to reflect on the times, on the pastoral ministry of the Church, but also to participate in dialogue in a family atmosphere.

The gathering began with the celebration of Vespers in the newly built church of Saints Demetriou and Nestor, a lifelong dream of His Eminence, which will be inaugurated during the church order on October 25, 2026.
