Hellenic Mediterranean University: Communication and cooperation meeting in the Archdiocese of Cretetranslated

The Rector of the Hellenic Mediterranean University (ELMEPA), Professor Nektarios Papadogiannis, visited the Most Reverend Archbishop of Crete Mr. Eugene on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, in the Holy Archdiocese of Crete, in the context of continuous outreach and the development of synergies with institutional and social bodies of Crete. The meeting was also attended by the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, Lifelong Learning and Student Affairs, Panagiotis Nektarios, and the Vice Chancellor of Finance, Infrastructure and Development, Stylianos Papadakis.

His Eminence warmly welcomed the Rector and an extensive discussion followed, lasting approximately one hour, in a particularly cordial atmosphere, focusing on issues of common interest and the possibilities of further cooperation between the Church of Crete and the Hellenic Mediterranean University.

Special reference was made to the social mission carried out by the two institutions and to the possibilities of developing joint initiatives with a social, cultural and developmental footprint.
