Serron Theologos: "The fight continues!"translated

With its announcement, the Holy Diocese of Serres welcomes the return of part of its sacred relics, with today's signing of the official delivery protocol following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministries of Culture of Greece and Bulgaria, stressing that the fight for the return of the stolen relics continues. The announcement in detail:

The Church of Serres welcomes today's return of part of its sacred relics with further expectations. The long-term efforts of the Greek State and other official Bodies and Associations, which fought a hard and difficult fight, together with our Holy Metropolis, for the return of all the forcibly stolen relics to our local Church, are marked with a positive sign.

The neighboring country of Bulgaria, which today admits the existence of the stolen relics in its territory, must and is obliged, respecting the international treaties and agreements (New and Hague) and the sense of justice, to return all the illegally seized holy relics of the Church of Serres without exception. THEREFORE, THE FIGHT GOES ON!
