The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Thessaly and Phanariofarsalon, Mr. Timotheus, arrived today at the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, where he received a warm welcome from Professor Elder Ephraim and the Brotherhood of the Monastery.

The reception took place at the entrance of the Monastery and according to the established order of Saints. A procession followed to the Catholic Church, where a Doxology was performed upon the reception of His Eminence.

The Abbot of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopedi, Elder Ephraim, addressed a heartfelt speech of welcome to Metropolitan Mr. Timotheo, expressing the joy of the Vatopedi Brotherhood for his presence in the Athonian State.
