The celebration of Agia Marina in the Holy Metropolis of Chalkidostranslated

On Thursday 16 and Friday 17 July 2026, the Parish I. Church celebrated St. Marinis Chalkidos. During the solemn Vespers, on the eve, the Most Reverend Pastor, Metropolitan of Chalkidos, Mr. Chrysostomos, officiated and preached the divine word and then presided over the procession of the holy icon of Agia Marina through the streets of the Parish, flanked by Clergy of Chalkidos, representatives of the Parliament and the first-level local government of the Chalkidos and a multitude of parishioners and pilgrims.

On the day of the feast, the Most Reverend Metropolitan Mr. Chrysostomos officiated at Orthros and presided over the divine Liturgy during which the archbishop preached the divine word. Nektarios Eugenikos.

Before the dismissal, the Reverend Mr. Chrysostomos wished fatherly to those who are celebrating and to all the churchgoers to have the embassies and the blessing of Saint Mary.
