The Sequence of Praises to the Dormition of the Virgin in Ermoupolitranslated

Preceded by the Reverend Metropolitan of Syros, Mr. Dorotheos II, on the evening of Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in the Holy Cathedral of Agios Nikolaos of Ermoupolis, the Sequence of Praises to the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, which is sung in the Church, according to tradition, after the Vespers of the Presentation of the Transfiguration, was held. The Service was held with the participation of the Church's Priests and the Priests of Syros, and which was enthusiastically attended by Municipal Councilors and a large crowd of faithful Syrians and visiting vacationers, who had overwhelmed the oversized Church.
