Group baptisms by the Metropolitan of Arusha in Singida on the feast of the Transfiguration of the Saviortranslated

A pastoral visit to the Orthodox community of Singida, in Central Tanzania, was made by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Arusha, Mr. Agathonikos, on the occasion of the great Despotic feast of the Transfiguration of the Savior. His Eminence presided over the solemn Divine Liturgy, with the participation of all the Orthodox of the region, who came to celebrate the great Despotic holiday and participate in the Holy Eucharist.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, group baptisms of catechists were performed, who joined the Orthodox Church. This event is another fruit of the missionary work that is being carried out in the region. At the same time, several more catechists continue their preparation in order to receive Holy Baptism in the near future, which testifies to the steady progress of Orthodoxy in Singida.
This was followed by a meal of love for all the faithful, courtesy of the catechetical congregations of the Holy Church of Agios Charalambos Platykambos Larissa, which support the missionary work of the Holy Metropolis of Arousa.
On the same day, a love meal was also served in the parish of the Holy Church...
