The festive Bogatyr Games, dedicated to the discovery of the relics of the blessed Grand Duke Dimitry Donskoy, were organized by the Sunday school of the Church of the Holy Spirit and the Nefteyugansk Orthodox Gymnasium (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug) on ​​September 5. On this day, townspeople celebrated the 59th anniversary of the city of Nefteyugansk and Oilman's Day.

As reported in the public page of the Khanty-Mansi Metropolis on the social network VKontakte, at numerous outposts, participants in the games faced various tests of strength, accuracy, dexterity and ingenuity. Children had to demonstrate the qualities inherent in real heroes of the Russian Land. During the breaks between competitions, one could hear folk singing, dance in a circle and drink tea with bagels and pies.

“With great joy, the children and teenagers of the city took part in the competitions: they shot arrows, crossed a stormy stream, rode horses, fought with clubs, and tug of war,” note the organizers of the celebration.
